Puppies Galore – Who We Are

We are an astounding family-centric business that has been around for over 20 years and we specialize in the selling of top quality award winning puppies and puppy supplies.  As one of the business owners, Darlene is a certified Vet Tech and a 5-year licensed breeder who is available every day. for the purchasing of needed supplies and all the puppies.  Darlene oversees greet all new puppies as they arrive in our store and chooses top breeders of integrity; to ensure that we do not buy from “Puppy Mills” – breeders that abusively breed a female during every heat leading to early death.   Such breeders are aware that we will be the first to assist in depleting their business as has been done in the past.  Due to our awesome breeders our pups are teachable.  We provide free potty-training (should start at 2 weeks), chewing and behavioral classes for your growing puppy. You will receive a list of all shots that your puppy has received and we provide instruction for receiving other shots inexpensively and spay and neutering services. We usually house around 35-45 puppies in the store.  We offer professional grooming at great prices Thursday through Saturday from 10am-5pm. Discounts on your first groom even though our prices are better than most.

We have had so many requests from out-of-state customers to view our puppies online as well as in our brick and mortar store.  We are now online to offer our customers an opportunity to view and purchase our wonderful puppies.  Puppies Galore has puppy owners in Jamaica, Canada, and all over the U.S.  Unfortunately, we do not ship these puppies outside of the U.S.   Stop by, come in, play and view our adorable pups in our store playrooms.

Our Breeders

We strive to provide healthy and happy puppies.  All of our pups are vet checked prior to entering our store.  We buy our puppies from breeders all over the U.S.  To ensure we are in compliance with breed standards, our breeders are monitored by the American Kennel Club (AKC).  All of our breeders are state and federally licensed and the breeder’s property is physically inspected to ensure no over or inbreeding. The pups are bred in a comfortable, safe and sanitized environment. All publications are monitored by the AKC for accuracy as to the state of the incoming and outgoing dogs to make sure the puppies are in compliance with breed standards or better. As a top-notch puppy store, our facilities are monitored by these three agencies as well and we take pride in selecting better than standard puppies for you, our customer.  We care about your puppy and hope to see and/or hear from you regularly.  Come shop and welcome a new addition to your family with Puppies Galore Inc.

Vet-Tech Internships

We are proud members of the ASPCA and the make a wish foundation. We work alongside churches and local schools to provide many fun events for children. We offer college students the opportunity to earn the required 20 hours of volunteer services in the animal industry (hours required by many colleges and the Vet Tech program at Grayson High school) in our store.

We teach the students how to

• give shots,

• administer medicine,

• dewormings,

• sub-q fluids,

• nail clippings,

• bath,

• anal glands, and more

We, Puppies Galore, require our breeders to start round and hook deworming at 2 weeks old, instead of at time of purchase. Upon receipt by Puppies Galore at 8 weeks, we continuing to deworm every 2 weeks for all 4 types of worms until purchased by you, their new familiy. This preventive measure counteracts the complaints that we have heard from others about nesting of worms in their homes.

Our interns receive training in potty-training, chewing and behavioral classes.  These pups are much like our family and we strive to earn lifelong customers, not a one-time sale.
